Summer tourism is gaining more and more significance in the Alps. When the snow melts and brings out lush meadows, shady forests and rugged summits appear, Arlberg´s Mountains offer endless opportunities to be discovered. Thus, the network of hiking trails is well marked and 350 km long. It was even awarded with the Tyrolean Seal of Quality for Hiking Trails. Possibilities cover short excursions for families, challenging mountain hikes in high alpine territories and everything in between. There are also special trails perfectly suited for running and Nordic-walking. Those, who prefer to discover the area by bike will find a lot of trails and roads that lead through Arlberg`s beautiful mountain world. Those seeking for action and adventure might give Arlberg´s Rafting-, Canyoning- or Paragliding opportunities a try. And Arlberg´s swimming pools give refreshment during hot summer days. These possibilities form only a part of the vast variety of summer activities offered at the Arlberg.
