During summer, the whole Arlberg region offers various amazing routes attracting mountain bikers from all over the world. Thus, you can discover Arlberg´s Mountains from a completely new perspective. The whole rout system for mountain bikers contains more than 200 kilometers – all well marked. All mountain bike enthusiasts will find an appropriate tour according to their level of proficiency and shape.

You will also find many tours perfectly suited for road bikes- all leading through amazing landscape. You could, for example, discover the Bregenz forest in the province of Vorarlberg and include 3 mountain passes in this tour. Also scaling up the Silvretta High Alpine road is a worthwhile opportunity to discover the province of Vorarlberg. On the Tyrolean side of the Arlberg the valley Pitztal and Kaunertal or the Hahntenjoch lure and fascinate cyclists.

For those who prefer less strenuous cycling tours, the `Genuss-Radwandertag´ in the Lech  Valley Nature Reserve will be organized on September 4^th 2011. This day is also ideal for families with children. Fortified by regional products like cheese, herbs or speck served along the road by local farmers, participants continue their tour to Höfen, the end of the route. At Höfen, a festival with local delicacies will be the culinary highlight of the day.
